The Executive Committee is responsible for setting attendance fees, which are reviewed on an annual basis. Any proposed changes will be communicated via email, with a minimum of 14 days’ notice.

Fees and charges are as follows:

Annual membership fee:
Membership fee is $50.00 per family. A membership fee applies whether the child is to be a permanent, casual or Holiday Program only.

Session fees:        PermanentCasual

Permanent Bookings:
If your child attends regularly, permanent bookings are best. A permanent booked session is charged whether attended or not. There is a small discount (relative to the casual booking rate) for permanent bookings. A booking must be in place for a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks for it to be considered a permanent booking.  

Permanent bookings falling on a public holiday are not charged.

Transfers from one day to another are available for the same session type (a.m. / p.m.) within the same week.  You can implement transfers via your online account, up to midday the day prior to the first session.

Casual Bookings:
If your child requires irregular or occasional care, then casual bookings are best.  These must be made via your online account before midday on the day prior to the booking.

After midday the day prior, please email Late booking requests will be accepted only if we have places available.

Casual bookings will not be accepted if fees are overdue for prior bookings.

Holiday Program:
Please refer to our website for prices, details, booking deadlines and the cut-off date for refunds. Holiday Program bookings will not be accepted if fees are more than four weeks overdue for term-time bookings.

Strike Days:
During any term, there is the possibility of industrial action by the Teacher’s Federation. There will be no charge for permanent bookings falling on such days.  The Centre may be able to offer full days of care on these days, but will only do so if there are sufficient staff and bookings.

If your child will miss a booked session (casual or permanent), you must advise DBOOSH. This avoids unnecessary confusion, concern and also the $10 non-notification penalty fee. For more detail, please refer to pt.7 of the Conditions of Enrolment, on p.8.
